Your Teachers Carefully Our lives can be heavily influenced by outside forces. Sometimes it seems that life can be almost unbearable. It can seem hopeless and tragic. If you are also following a teacher that teaches pessimism, that teaches negativity or what they call realism, be very careful. For us to fulfill our highest soul’s quest we need sometimes incredible amounts of encouragement, we need incredible amounts of positivity, and incredible amounts of courage, faith and determination. It is very easy for us to give up sometimes on our dreams because life seems so hard and difficult. It is very easy for us to forget about our dreams and become pessimistic. But what is the value of someone uplifting you and encouraging you through your most difficult and trying times? What is that worth to you? If you watch the movies Lord of the Rings I, II, III, you will know exactly what I am talking about. One of the main characters is named Frodo, and his best friend and sidekick that follows him on his entire quest is named Sam. Sam throughout the entire movie trilogy delivers an extremely important message. He constantly encourages Frodo to continue his quest, even in the worst of circumstances and horrors. Sam remains true and positive, constantly helping Frodo to complete his mission. There are many times that even Frodo wanted to give up, and Frodo is supposed to be the infallible main character, who should never give up. Sam is there, throughout Frodo’s entire quest urging him forward. Frodo would have never finished his quest and mission if he did not have Sam’s help and assistance. The story of Frodo and Sam is an incredibly important message to hold to your heart. Who in your life is helping you, that unless you had their guidance, their encouragement and help, you may not be able to finish your quest? What teachers in your life give you the needed inspiration to still remain true to your purpose, to your quest and to your dreams? If a teacher offers any kind of negativity to the quest that you feel is of utmost importance for you to complete, they are actually poisoning your dreams, they are actually poisoning your quest and world. Be extremely cautious when you come in contact with people who want to taint your greatest mission or greatest dreams. All negativity towards your mission is much like the dragons and goblins you see in the movies battling you on your way to fulfilling your destiny. It’s the constant protagonist that is portrayed in all the great movies, the one who is trying to stop you continuously, stop you in your tracks. How many people let their protagonists win? So ask yourself, who are your protagonists? They might even be your closest friends, or even your own family. Unfortunately this is the case many times. Your closest friends and family could be your greatest protagonists, trying to sway you from your highest calling and aspirations. One of the smartest things you can ever do in this lifetime is to ally yourself with friends and family who will help you complete your quest. Who will be your “Sam” in your life? Who will always be in your corner when times get tuff, when you have lost your faith? Who will encourage you to fulfill your greatest destiny? It may only be a few people, or a few teachers that you have never even met. Hold them dear to your heart, because they may be your greatest ally's, your greatest soul mates. Bring as much inspiration into your life as possible. If you feel yourself getting down in the dumps, negative and loosing the will to live your dreams, it is time to inspire yourself. It is time to reboot your inspiration towards life and all that you want to complete. Listen to great music, watch movies that inspire you to live more greatly, play your favorite songs constantly if that is what is needed. Read your favorite spiritual books over and over again. Go visit friends and have a goofy fun time. Do whatever it takes to stay inspired to finish your quest. The battle is on. It is a battle for your dreams. Remember sometimes you will have to keep your dreams and your quest to yourself. It shouldn’t be shared with just everyone because many people will offer their opinions, and usually their opinions are negative. Why put your pearls before swine so to speak, why roll out your red carpet for pigs who are just going to step all over it with their muddy foot prints? When you are speaking of your quest, you are speaking of something that is extremely sacred and holy. It comes from the deepest chambers of your heart, from the deepest chambers of your own soul. Your dreams should be treated as if they were treasures of pearls, diamonds of purity. You would guard your diamonds and pearls, wouldn’t you? Well this is the same kind of analogy you must bring to your dreams and your aspirations. Keep them honored and sacred at all times.
